I recently met swimwear designer and makeup artist Cheryl Gushue at her Toronto loft for an article in Town Crier. Here are some pictures from the official launch of Cascata Blu’s 2013 resort wear collection at The Spoke Club on Sept. 8, along with some behind the scenes shots, the final newspaper article and the first set of swimsuits she designed when she was just 10 years old.

Gushue, also an established makeup artist, came up with the makeup concept for the show (applied by her Angels), while nail aesthetician Rita Remark created nail designs to match the show’s graffiti theme and a team from Kevin Murphy Hair did the models’ tresses.
